Remarks

This college is best in petroleum sector.It come after IIT BOMBAY AND IIT DHANBAD.One of the beat campus in Dehradun is the main attraction. Its a green campus. The fascinating and refreshing weather and the location of college are very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are really bad. They only go though powerpoint. But course are well designed.I am very satisfied with college infrastructure and academic because it is very transparent and also lab facilities is very good.There are also well equiped workshops.

Big Companies such as Schlumburge r,Exxon Mobil,shell,and construction company always come during graduation to give immediate employment to the graduated Students. Some times the decide to take 20 to 25 Students. Our Alumni Association network is not working well.They never offer scholarships and less paid Job opportunities to the students

UPES every year aranging two well known event named as UURJA AND IGNITE.there are more than 200 event are happen.Ragging is strictly prohibited inside as well as outside the campus. Many seminars and workshops helds in our college on regular basis like 3 to 8 in a month, regarding our skill development

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course (BAMS) is very good and interesting. In initial days it is little bit difficult to understand the concepts but teachers explains very well that you will get the concepts as Ayurveda is a different & ancient science . You will get very much of written work No clinical postings and OPD postings. I think it should be implemented

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course due to my own interest. This course is relevant enough to prepare the person to solve real-life applications and adapt thinkingness and knowledge. It would be helpful if they use visual content to teach it will be helpful. The frequency and timing of exams are perfect according to the level of the paper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.

Admission:

The entrance exam is held on June 1 every year. IIMs .silly running. The test is for admission to all IIMs including IISK Shikesh, Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar. After selection, you just have to visit college for filling the form.

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared.
