Remarks

Good about college is that it is a government college. And bad about college is that there is no placement. The admission process is through jee main marks through absence. Prefer this college as it is too government engineering college in Bihar except for IIT Patna and Nit Patna. Siksha .com website shows college details.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as it is related to technology and science. 80:210 is the faculty to student ratio. All faculty are qualified MTech and PhD from IIT and NITs. There teaching methods is simple and easy according to students interest. There are one mid-SEM exam and one end SEM exam in every semester course and also viva. It is quite comfortable to crack the semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

IITs and government sector like PSUs offer students to do their internship from here without stipend. All expenses are done by the college after showing all expenses bills to college. Major projects and minor project.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike policy implementation done in my college as it is government college show all policy and management done by the technical officer. Only National Scholarship is provided to every student and campus pool drive for placement which is negligible.

Campus Life

There is technorati which is annual technical fest in my college which consists of program robotics technical event and lastly umang the cultural fest which is mostly held in the month of March. Fewer books and journals are available in the library. There are no such facilities for sports and extracurricular activities. No club run by the students.

Hostel Facilities

Room is well furnished with all facilities. Meal quality is average. The registration process is strictly based on interest and CGPA of semester best semester marks get the best choice. No, any locality rented a room or PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Interview Experience

No, I haven't face any group discussion, interview or written test for the admission only I have given entrance exam for admission. Admission is based on merit and students choice filling during counselling. I have done self-study for the entrance exam.

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Placement Experience:

The placement is not so good but if you work hard about study then you will be selected for campus placement. Many companies visit here. 40 percentage students approx get placement. I have to clear competitive exams after it.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

Try harder to get better college.

I chose this college due to following reasons:- Proximity to my house. Reputation of the college. Location of the college. Lush green campus. Top engineering college of bihar with low cost

You have to qualify jee mains examination and if you don't participate in jee mains then you can give BCECE examination. Generally the application form come in months of may and the application fee are nominal less than 500.If you score more than 80 percentile in jee mains then you can get admission in this college.
