Remarks
Positive - the college environment is very good, the staff is extremely helpful and there are all facilities needed like sports, fests etc. Negative - the college canteen is big but not the food is not quite good and the menu is very short. Admission procedure - admission process was quick and I haven't face any problems or delays. I prefer Shivaji over others because of its good name and high placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
BA Hons Business Economics is a professional course and that's why it has more value than most of the other courses. The student ratio is not much good although, the ratio is something like 8:1 male to female. Teaching is extremely good and the teachers are very helpful and understanding. The exams are always to time and that too is pretty justifying according to the difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities
There is a placement cell which offers internship offers to all the students there are many companies and startups internship offers but mostly internship offers are from new startup and they are pretty decent internships.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement after at the end of the 3rd year when the interviews are conducted and the placement is pretty good too. The highest place last year was 6.5 lakh and the average place is around 3-4 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a bit too high if compared to other courses and since it is a self-financed course there are no scholarships allowed from college to own income category students. But in the case of the corona, the college also allows fee reduction of nearly 8000.
Campus Life
The college life is very good. Fests and events are hosted throughout the year and it always fun. There is a huge library and I found every book I needed, its the biggest library in DU. There are huge sports ground and almost every sport available like football, tennis etc.
