Remarks
Well To be completely honest with you, the foundation of upes are petroleum oriented branches. Although upes offers numerous trades with promising carrier opportunities, but unless you have a genuine interest in those trades do not opt for them. The specialization courses seems quite exclusive for now but the scope of new branches like nano technology, nuclear etc in India is still debated and placement after 4 years cannot be predicted at this stage as given that most of these branches are new (the first batch will graduate this year or upcoming year except old branches). The university is in its expansion phase right now and the opportunities for other branches are also increasing along with time (things may be quite good for them after 4 years) but at present the Petroleum sector is of course the best one since university has really good reputation and contacts in this sector. But as i have said earlier if you have a genuine interest in a particular sector, go for it. May be upes will provide you just the right thing.
