ASIF MOHAMED S's Review On College Of Engineering - [CEAL] Attingal, Thiruvananthapuram

My entrance examination was Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam in the year 2009 and I got above 22000 rank . Since I did not get a good rank below 1000 , I was searching for good college for me too study with the current rank. It was difficult for me to get seat in first and second allotment.

My subject was Computer science and Technology. It was a vast subject with lot of research topics. Moreover our computer science is ruling the world. With out computer science no programmers exist, no Information technology exists.

Yes our college provide stipend towards the students having above 90 percentage in plus two level , with 10000 rupees per year. Also students with parents annual income less than 50000, need not pay the college semester fee per month and year. And also students in the category of SC/ST , need not pay the fees for semester, only exam fees below 100 rupees and that too will be reimbursed asap.

Our college placement year was 2012 . The golden year with lots of placement. My year 2013 was only less placements. The year 2012 ,ON CAMPUS RECRUITMENT the companies came are INFOSYS, WIPRO, CTS, TCS , BOSCH. Around 75 students from EC ,CSE are selected and they joined soon after the results , from august 2012.

There were so many technical ,cultural, management events in every year. Our official name was DAKSHA 2012 -college of engineering attingal, before it was SARGAM.

For government seat it was 20200 RS per year. For Management seat it was 65000 Rs per year. For NRI quotas it was 1.2 lakhs ( only few seats) While comparing to other self financing and private colleges our fee structure was feasible and non expensive, since it comes under IHRD and semi-Government .

I don't received any scholarship since I doesn't comes under the categories. The scholarship are provided for students of SC/ST and parents annual income less than 50 thousand. Since I was studying without loan facility ,I doesn't no any details. loan facility was available at that time in most of the colleges, but our college I don't know.

First of all the truth is campus life story doesn't fill here. it is huge , just imagine 4 years of my life, very huge I can't express full. In our class it was 24 boys and 30 girls. In EC department it was 40 boys 25 girls. The ratio will be 50- 60 percent girls and rest is boys.

Alumni is perfect especially our seniors , all are helpful in coordinating activities . I have contacts of all seniors and supers seniors of my college Shibu sir is in lead role charge of alumni association of CEAL.

For us it was very good Exam Structure . While comparing with kerala university and MG university our CUSAT was perfect just like central CBSE exam structure, no replacement of exam , no rescheduling , no revaluation etc. Strict evaluation under guidance of many great peoples. once the exam is fixed it will happen.

All faculty in our colleges were well experienced engineering post graduates with multiple graduations and relevant experiences. Mr shibu sir is in whole charge of college System Administration having more than 15 years of experience in IT industry.
