Remarks
The sports are the highlight of our college, the NCC and NSS societies are amazing, English literature faculty is more than amazing, the infrastructure was not so good in 2017 but it has upgraded and developed the college looks amazing, I chose Lakshmi bai over Shyama prasad Mukherji college because this college geographical location and obviously the over-hyped north campus, Kamla Nagar, You'll meet girls from every background, different people different experience, Try to join NSS or the navrangg drama society, Toilets are clean, the library is quite spacious and has an amazing ambience, the new Vishwakarma building is kinda cool and clean, the student union is just fine, canteen is big, clean, hygienic food, Cons (the sun, too big too spacious, you'll have to walk too much but it's fun)
Course Curriculum Overview
Economics faculty is great and the English literature faculty is the best, the best professors you'll meet and interact with, the student was (30-40 in eco) (20-25 eng) (one teacher per semester for eco) (2 teachers per semester for English), Eco teachers rating 8/10, Eng teachers rating 9/10, Well qualified and well-behaved teachers, amazing code of conduct, very imaginative and interactive classes Exams are fine, no cheating allowed if caught (suspension probably).
Placement Experience
No placement as such But depends on your career orientation as well You can opt for masters from du or ignou or jmi, any university you'd like to get enrolled in. And then clear net exam and secure a job for lecturer in a college, du college give preferences to du masters degree students. I'm pursuing masters in eco from ignou and preparing for UPSC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not so expensive, Examination fee (500 lump sum), You can write applications if you're from ews. I didn't get any job but many companies like Wipro were the ones coming to the doorstep for students No placement as such if you're opting for this program. But the rest depends on you and your choices.
Campus Life
Annual fest every year probably in July-aug, Different societies different fests, In the amazing library, you'll get almost everything you like from literature, Classrooms are just fine with fans and lights over, Ventilated, Best in sports, weightlifting etc Ncc, NSS navrangg amazing things to join, Dance society growing at a good pace, Great inter-college Debating sessions
