Remarks

I choose to attend this college as it is accredited A grade by NAAC and placed 21st rank by NIRF all over India. The admission process was simple as this year, everything is online we just submitted the documents they verified it and we deposited the fee. The reason for choosing this college was very simple that I want to do a B.A. in economics and commerce which was available in this college as per my merit.

I chose this course ba prog(economies and commerce) to get specialize in economies and stay connected with commerce subject. The student ratio is pretty impressive 11:12. Even syllabus covers every point and faculty teachers explain every thing Is details to even prog students. And we have unit test in between and term exams are held every 6 months

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 12905 per year

Placement Experience

After the 4th semester, students are eligible to get employment through placement cell. Many reputed companies visit life hdfc bank, Wipro, Amazon, IBM, Byju's, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest average package as per companies and profiles offered is 7 lakh per annum. My plan after getting a degree is to do masters in economics.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very low according to the facilities they offer because college offers a lot of things and charge a low amount. AS I am fresher I don't have much experience with scholarships and jobs opportunities. But as I had heard college has it E cell which helo the students to get better placement and societies which helps in financial assistance.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is just amazing. The crowd of college is best helps to get great exposure and you can meet students from every state of India. Even the social life is great on the campus students are polite and have great nature and after joining the college society social life becomes greater.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
