My college experience

In College of engineering roorkee the environment, hostel Life, teacher etc are good but the teaching system is schooling system in this time. There are 3 types of addmission process of this college 1) JEE mains based 2) UTU counseling based 3) Marit based. Now addmission is open through marit based. In Uttrakhand under uttrakhand technical University College of engineering roorkee is the best choice due to teaching, teacher, lab, and placement. So, I prefer if you want to study in Uttrakhand you can get addmission in coer. In collegeduniya you see perfect about this college.

In College of engineering roorkee I choose BTech computer science. In this college computer science is better choice. There are 180 seats for btech computer science. In other courses many types of course as BBA, BCA, Agriculture, Medical etc. All courses are good but in this college computer science is better choice. In BTech teachers are good but teaching system is an schooling system in this college. No teachers for teaching out of syllabus for extra activities. Student faculties ratio is avg 35:1. Many teachers are doing mtech but some teachers are doing PhD in this college. But teachers are well educated and their teaching style is perfect. This college is affiliated Uttarakhand Technical University. And this exam are conducted by UTU. The exam are getting cover of full syllabus. But getting score as we write in the exam.

In third year student become eligible for campus placement. But campus placement is getting in fourth year. Many companies are visiting in this college. Mainly computer science students getting placement easily then others. Many offers are made for this college. As I know highest package in this college for computer science is 17 lakhs in few years. But average placement of computer science is 4.5 lakhs per annum. There are approximately 70-80 percent students getting campus placement in many types of salary. There are many rounds are happened for campus placement. I try to getting campus placement in this college.

In College of Engineering Roorkee fee of this college is good and policies are many of this college. As students situation. But in this college scholarship only provide by Uttrakhand Technical University. No scholarship provide by this college. We can paid fee like emi without emi cost this is only financial I know but campus placement is good not best because of average placement.

In College of engineering roorkee the most famous fest in this college is ZION. Zion is conducted in April or May. And also many fest are conduct in every year ex- tug of war, ki-pochey etc. In this college library is in better condition. There are sufficient book for us in library. We can use many books free of cost at a time. We must submit books within 15 days or reissue in 15 days. The classroom are in good condition. With projector but not available A.C in the classroom. But labs are in better condition. There are sufficient things in laboratory. Labs are very good. In College almost all sports are available and in extra curricular activities dancing, singing, and music are available. In this college many groups and club like ECO Club, linguistic, praharsh etc.

In a room two students allowed. One bed, one table, one chair, one locker provided for one student. Rooms are in very good condition and all rooms are fully connected to outside windows. The food quality is good but the major think is non-veg not allowed. Only veg food is available non veg is strictly prohibited in official. I become non-vegetarian to vegetarian in hostel only. We paid 10000 for security money for hostel which is refundable. The college is situated almost 10km from city. So if you want rented a room or PG is little difficult.
