Remarks
This college takes admission based on the rank of Jee mains exam. NIT Uttarakhand is one among the 32 NITs established by Government of India. Generally admission start in the month of July but for that you have to fill this college in your preference list of JOSAA councelling. Infrastructure is not so good because this is still not have its permanent campust after 10 years of foundation but its temporary campus is located in the valley of Mountains which will give you refreshment with its natural beauty.
Course Curriculum Overview
Generally stream is allocated based on your rank but if you have good rank than you can opt for all stream whose cutoff is below your rank. All the faculty and staff are good as they are selected by passing every criteria. You have to give two mid term exam and one end term exam to pass the subject in each semester. All the three exams and teacher assessment is of 100 marks and one have to score atleast 30 marks to pass the subject which is not very difficult to get.
Internships Opportunities
No I have not opted for internship. But if you want you can go on internship. There are two type of internship one is what you do in summer holidays for that you don't need any permission from college but other is 6 months internship if you are going for this then college will give you credit for internship and you have take noc for this.
Placement Experience
Every year companies visit for recruiting students and each company give offer better than what one get in private colleges. Generally there are three round in recruitment process firstly technical assessment secondly technical interview and finally HR round interview and each round is elimination round.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tution fee is 62500 for one semester and hostel + mess fee is 16600 per semester but you will get remission in tution fee as per your economic conditions and full remission in tution fee is given to SC/ST students.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome its a completely new experience when you start your college days. You will meet new people from around the country and each have different culture and lifestyle. There are 5-6 clubs to develop skills in each fields like art, dance, robotics, coding etc.
Admission
There is nothing like that you just have pass the Jee Mains exam and try to score good rank. Syllabus of Jee mains exam is what you have studied in your 11th and 12th NCERTs. Maths, Physics and chemistry is the three subject whose questions are asked in exam.
