Remarks

I will say that I have no regrets joining this college. I feel proud when someone asks which college you are from and I say UPES. My family, friends, neighbors are very happy. I don't think there are any Bad Remarks for me to say.

I appeared for UPESEAT and got 16786 Rank. This College is best in north India as per my knowledge and also i am a local student.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I have taken admission in B.tech Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Machine Design so this is a new branch in this college.It is great to study this course as it is very interesting.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Audi,Tata Motors,Maruti Suzuki, etc have came.

I think almost 85% students got placement with an average package of 3.5 lakh

Urzaa is one of the major event in our college in which students of all college ( energy acres and knowledge acres) participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is bit expensive in this college but I think its worth it.

Campus Life

There are many associations in this college and I have joined ASME(american society of mechanical engineers). There are anti-ragging guards everywhere so I feel very safe.

Hostel Facilities

I think food in college can't be further good. I liked the food court very much.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

Faculty is one of the main reason I joined this college. The qualification and way of teaching is excellent.

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!
