Remarks
I have applied for nits and iiits and all Bihar state government engineering colleges. And I opted for BCE, Bhagalpur couse the fee structure is really low and it's a good government college. Cut off of an electrical branch in my colleges for general category starts from 88 percentile and goes up to 96 percentile and is done on jee mains marks basis. The admission process was fully offline, you've to attend counselling and fill the required form and complete all given procedures at the college on the given admission day.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties in this college are really good and well qualified and they are nice and approachable. They also provide us with info about internship and all timely. Exams usually happen at their usual time and there is no delay but this year due to covid issues it is a bit delayed. Papers are of medium difficulty and can be done if one studied well.
Internships Opportunities
Our college has a tie up with IISER shibpur, so all 2nd year students get a chance of internship there. Our college also provides internship in BSNL and our alumni network is also pretty much strong which helps freshers land an internship easily.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is one of the weakest points of this college. Not many companies visit our college but some do. The ratio of the student getting placed depends on branch I.e. CSE>CE>EE>ECE>ME Approx 60% students from CSE gets placed every year. And each year they're a gradual increase in placement ratio. So it's a good thing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is what makes this college different from any other engineering colleges. It's minimal, it'll take around 30k for your 4yrs of BTech course. And also our college provides scholarship to girls. Campus placement is a bit low but it's up to students capability.
Campus Life
Our college holds a fest named "Technoriti" every year, it is a big fest indeed and different colleges also participate in it. Our college has a big library filled with a vast amount of journals and books and the library Hall is peaceful calming and a good place for studying. Our college also has a cricket and volleyball field and we do organise sports competitions each year.
