Remarks

I applied to many colleges, for instance, Hansraj college, Sri Aurobindo College, Satyavati college, etc. I was not enrolled in any of the quotas. Talking about the admission criteria. So, it was just a simple process as many colleges have. So the minimum age for our course is 18 or above and the minimum marks that were required for the course according to the first cut-off list was 89% so I got admission through 2nd cut-off. Which was highly grateful. So, on the very first day, we had our counseling session in our auditorium. We got to know about the college, their cultural fests, and events, courses, what all courses do we have in our college. What we gonna do in our course and more.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

So, I choose this course because I have decided and explored what I want to do in my pursuing career and in what field so I decided to pursue in the marketing field. As I have marketing and economics as my main subjects. Talking about the faculty, so our college faculty is really good. Students' ratio or strength in every class/lecture is around 35-45. So, the faculty's teaching method is very good, all teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields. When it comes to exam patterns or passing exams in our college. So, it's actually not as easy as you might think. If you work hard and you k ow what you have to do and how you can actually excel in it.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

The internships don't really entertain with as much salary as you might think to get. But yes there are certain internship opportunities that might give you good stipends according to your performance or how well you perform you're to the task.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements in our college are good when you complete your degree. Many companies visit here for providing placements to students. For instance, EY, infotech, Wipro, etc. I don't know about the exact packages students would get but yes the packages they provide are really good for the students who have done their graduation recently. If you want to get good placements or your dream placements ao you need to score at least 80% or above. So, I'm planning to do masters

Fees and Financial Aid

So, the fee structure for our course is about 7k-10k depending upon the course you have enrolled in. Good opportunities and campus placements ahead. So there are so many scholarships and internships that you can get while puruing your graduation. Like on-campus placements and off-campus placements as well.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is really awesome. I mean you get to stay in-between nature and many shopping complexes around and very easy access to metro and bus stations. Food shops and cafes are all nearby. Our college has conducted many fests and events in the past many years. So our college's main fest/event name is MEHAK. That was literally the best event and there were so many students who had participated in it. All fests/events took place in the month of April. Talking about the college library. So it is really well maintained I must say. As such we do not face any unavailability or shortage of books. When it comes to amenities that we get to experience in our classrooms. So I would say those are on an average scale. But we do not have any issues with that. This means, we get to experience and use all the basic things in good condition. The infrastructure of our college is not that good as I was expecting when I entered the college for the first time. But, yes all infrastructure in DU is on an average scale

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
