Hansraj Internship Program

I applied to many colleges before Hansraj college but end up here because of its top ranking and low fee structure. It comes under Central University(Delhi University). Admissions are merit-based (till 2020), University announced cutoffs for each of its colleges and I availed of the OBC quota for admission in English Hons. The minimum age is 17 years old for applying the same.

I wanted to pursue languages as a career that's why I choose this English Hons course at Hansraj college. there are more than 60 students in the class. English Department of Hansraj is one of the best in DU and Teachers teach in a very simple and lucid way. there is a semester-wise exam system at University. Due to Covid -19, I gave the online exam(OBE) from my home and for me, those were not difficult.

Dainik Bhaskar, airtel, urban claps, oxford university press, NDTV And and josh talk are some prestigious company which provides jobs to college students. Hansraj college also organizes the internship fair where around 50 companies and 3000 students take part every year.

Students are eligible for small internships from 1st year of college, some of them are paid and some non-paid. Vipro, Byjus, ITC Limited, and Zomato are some companies that offer internships and jobs. I will do Masters in English Hons after my graduation and go to the linguistics field.

In 2020 the overall fees for 1 year around 20,000 and the college provides scholarships to financially weak students, under single girl child policy, meritorious Students, and differently able students. you can get more information from the college website.

Hansraj's fest Confluence is one of the best fests in Delhi. it usually happens in the month of February. the society of sports organize many events and all student can avail sports facilities of the college. students can join any society of their interest for good exposure and personality development. some famous societies are Oorja, Swaranjili, Hansraj Sports Society, and Haritma. NCC and NSS options are also available.
