One of the best college if you are looking for good academics and want to experience

After the cutoff was published, I applied for this college through the University of Delhi's website. Taking a print of the application form, I reached the college campus. The admission process was smooth and both staffs and student volunteers were very helpful throughout the day of admission. Overall the admission process was nice.

I chose this course because, since my early school days, I had a soft spot for Political science or civics as it was called in our school. Also, a diverse field of the subject contributed a lot in deciding this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1: 40. The faculty of B.A.(hons. ) Political science in our college is very qualified. Nearly all of them have many journals published in their name and some of them also visit to various universities both in India and abroad for academic purposes. The teaching methods of the faculty in best across the University and is quite interactive in nature. The exams consist of Internal Assessment which is done by the college and the rest is taken by Delhi university. The exam schedule is always timely and follows the pre published academic calendar of the University. The difficulty level of semester exams are easy to moderate and one can easily get good marks if he prepares reasonably.

Didn't have the opportunity to attend to take part in the internship process since college closed due to a pandemic when were in our first year. But we have heard from our seniors that a handful of companies regularly visit our campus and offer a quite reasonable package.

For internships, you can join the counseling process from the start of the first year. The placement opportunities are more for the final year students. After the degree, I would plan to pursue a career in the social sector.

The fee structure is quite affordable which is around Rs. 9000 annually which comes around Rs. 27000 for the whole course. Students coming from families with weaker financials can apply for a fee waiver scheme. The job opportunities on the campus are also good as our seniors have told us and an internship and job fair is held in the college annually.

The annual fest is held after the first semester exams are done. There are a plethora of events that takes place during the annual fest. Celebrities from different areas come to the college to perform. There is no shortage of books and journals in library. There are enough books across the courses available there. We can easily get any books of our choice from library. The classroom are furnished in an average way and have good air circulation. The upcoming new building is very large and have excellent classroom facilities. There are a lot of sports and ECA activities happening in our college. A variety of different societies exist and you can join them according to your preference. NCC and NSS is very active in our college.
