I had given UPESEAT which is entrance exam of UPES conducted all over india. Their my rank was around 5 k all over india which is pretty good in my sense. Rank-5 k. Because it is known for exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview
First sem syllabus is bad as there are some irrelevant subjects like chemistry for computer science student .Which has no use in future but with increase in time we will get to use incrementation of proffessional courses to make student ready for industry.
Internships Opportunities
They are pretty good as compared to other known organisations. Now other it companies like google is also coming with good packages of around 20 lakh. IBM is making students ready for industry to work. They are working hard on students by providing internships and experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its expensive in all ways but they helps the most to get the students placed in right areas.it should be in control and scholarship opportunities must be raised for the poor ones.they provide good internet at a very great speed.loan facilities are good.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is around 55-45 for men to women. But the are very good in their respective behaviour. EGO is high and they sometimes discriminate juniors but they are helpful. They tell us how to prepare for exams.there is no sexual harassment , eve teasing.
Exam Structure
There are practical exams classroom course test twice a semester, continuous evaluation of practical exams, 2 other major exams and number of online tests. We feel here like school with good understanding between teacher and student. Basically its good environment for everyone.
Admission
I got intimated by universities via email one day and i told my parents about it , They were happy and gave me permission to go to dehradun from delhi to study and to live hostel life. After this i came to dehradun for booking my hostel. And on the day of registration i get registered myself in university.
