Admission in DIT is through JEE and boards percentage. There is no seperate exam for admission. I opted for this college because it has a good reputation in uttrakhand as well as nationally and placement record was also good. Seeing the other facilities I opted for the college.

Dit university has a well organised coarse structure for every branch. Along with the basic subjects it also promotes learning of various skills such as soft skills. Research papers can be also published by any student, it provides full opportunity to do so. Faculty advisers help students in such activities.

No, DIT does not provides internships. Internships are done by students as per there wish in various companies.

Placement record of DIT is quite good and in fact it is increasing every year as more number of talented students are graduating from here. This year(2016) companies like ashok Leyland, infosis, wipro recruited students with good packages. Placement cell of DIT works hard to make every student ready to work professionally.

Fee structure can be said average that is not too high nor too low. It is easily affordable for everyone. Scholarships are also provided in form of fee waivers. Average fees per annum is approximately two lakhs. Hostel and mess fees is around 90000 per annum and the rest is college fees.

Scholarships are given to meritorious students before as well after admission. Also students with excellent performance are awarded cash prizes.

Hostel facilities are quite good. Rooms are well maintained with good quality of furnitures. Cleanliness is one of the major qualifying factor of DIT. Mess facilities are also good. They provide special dishes on various occasions. In the evening snacks and tea is also provided, fruits are provided daily during lunch time.

Seniors of DIT are truly helpful in respects. There are various clubs which are operated by the seniors. These clubs help the new comers to enhance there there overall personality and abilities. Alumni meet is held on a national as well on an international platform in which DIT alumni help DIT management and students in various ways.

In every semester there is one sessional and one end term exam. There are also various quiz and class tests held on a regular interval which helps the students in preparing well for the final exams. Practicals are also conducted at the end weeks of the semester ending. Seating arrangements are provided for every exam.

Administration of DIT university is well managed and operates in a very disciplined manner. Forms for registration are available on the website page of DIT. After filing the form counselling takes place and on the basis of JEE and boards percentage admission is given.

Faculty of DIT university is quite good. It has the best faculty for mechanical engineering branch. Other faculties are also well qualified with degree of m.tech and PhD from various reputed institutions. Most of the faculties are from IIT. Some of the faculties are also qualified from foreign universities. Many faculties have published there research papers.
