IIT GUWAHATI, heaven on earth

I choose this course because this is the best I got with my rank but after taking this course I find its not a wrong choice. Facilities are very cooperative and if you are really interested in that course they will really help you even they give you opportunities to work under them in reasearch projects and if you are lucky you also got chances of publishing your paper works. Student faculty ratio: 2:1Facilities are very qualified everyone completed there phD from foreign recognised institution like MIT,Harwards etc. Everyone is doing reasearch works, in short I can say they are scientists and researchers. It's not like how coaching teacher teaches as in intractive way, prof were mostly boaring they don't care wheather you are getting or not unless or until you yourself asked your doubts. One need to be very attentive in class if they want to understand lectures properly. Otherwise like most of the students including me YouTube is the best savior or your topper friends they will help you.academics are strict for 1st year students but for others it getting easier. So, if one manage to score good grades in there 1st year then I can bet he don't find any difficulty in rest semesters.Start studying before a week of exam and you will end up getting descent cgpa.There are in total 8 semesters. In every sem there were two quizzes, 1 mid sem, 1end sem, they comprise most of the marks, some prof also give assignments and tutorials which also comprises some marks in final evaluation (not more then 10 marks).

I don't get on campus internship because of my profile but there are many companies for SDE roles. Companies like Google, microsoft, rubric, jo Morgan etc come for internship. There were 200 offers and companies are more then 150 that visited campus.Stipend: 15,000 to 2 lacsProjects are based on software development, ML, data science.

Students of 7th semester are eligible for placement.Companies:Google, microsoft,Goldman Sachs, AMEX, Adobe, walmart, Amazon, Flipkart, snapdeal,icici Bank, byjus, Myntra, JP Morgan there are many more but these are some of the famous companies that come visit the campus.Highest package: 1.7 crores(international offers)Average pakage: 15 lacs78% students placed last year.Planning to seat for placement and grab offer.

I don't get any scholarships so I have to pay 1.5 lacs approx every semester but I your family income is less then 5 lacs you will get some scholarship.And if family income is less the 1 lac the you need to pay only 40k per sem this offer is also valid for sc/st candidates.As for the job then average pakage is around 1.5 lacs. Placement percentage is quite descent 78%.Placement% and average pakage also depends upon branch.Every yaer highest package of IIT GUWAHATI go upto 1.7 crores for international offers.

India's most beautiful campus. Alcheringa (largest nort Eastern cultural feast) conducted in first week of February, 4 day feast. Tech feast (Techniche) conducted in month of October. Students from all over India actively participat in both the feasts. I don't there will be any book that you don't find in central library of iit Guwahati. There is a separate floor in library that is fill with journals. Classroom is full air conditioned with sound prof system, automatic light facilities, class have projects and white boards that our prof use for teaching purposes. Wifi facility is also there.There are so many extracurricular activities happened at regular intervals famous ones are inter hostel tech,sports, cultural compition. Club events like dancing,singing,story writting compitions. Annual technical compition amongst students of our college. Stand-up comedy events too.For sports we have separate club's like cricket club,hokey club etc inside campus they have separate grounds they conduct there regular events.

Hostels are inside the campus.Hostel charge and mess charge was already included with tution fee. So, one need have to pay extra amount for this.During the time of admission they randomly allot you any hostel.Inside hostel one will get canteen,juice center, music room, library,hostel office, reception, sports room.Boys get single room, for girls there two people get one room.It is cumpolsory for everyone to stay in hostel inside the campus.

Min 75% or be in top 20 percentile in 12th board, need to clear JEE Advance cutoff, I had scored 134/360 in 2018 JEE Advance exam and have 87.2% in 12th
