Entrance exams I took were AIEEE, IIT and WB joint Entrance my college was through AIEEE i had a state rank of 360 in AIEEE.

Course curriculum was good however I would have liked to have a higher flexibility on choosing subjects.

I never had a paid internship the two internships I did were at tool room training centre and Air India both were on no pay no charge basis the third internship was at HLS Asia. I received an employment offer from them.

During my year the placements were excellent there were close to 100% placement in mechanical engineering i had received 3 jobs.

There were mainly two events that were majorly celebrated confluence was the cultural fest and Literati was the academic fest both attracted students from colleges outside the state.

The fee structure was on the lower side both for the tuition fees as well as the living and fooding expenses were reasonable tution fees were to be paid half yearly.

I did not require any loan for the college studies I had also not received any scholarships, However there are scholarships available for some of the students.

Campus life was excellent although the gender ratios were not balanced specially in Mechanical engineering. However there were no discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Hostel facilities were pretty bad the rooms were small frequent power cuts toilets not cleaned properly even the coridoors were dark and not properly maintained.

Compared to college abroad, the alumini network is not as strong we did not see many aluminis coming back to recruit students for their start up may be this could be because students were already placed in reputed companies.

Three sessionals a year and an end term meant we had exams pretty much every month but still I would not call it to be hectic.

The faculty was reasonable with the experienced professors doing a good job.
