You Won't Regret Joining Hansraj College

The admission process was quite smooth as my name was in the first cutoff list only. The teachers were quite cooperative and courteous. They were cracking jokes to make anxious students like us comfortable. They asked us to submit the original documents as well as the attested photocopies of the documents.

I chose this course because I was interested in studying history. I always knew that if I will study well, I would be able to earn enough to afford a decent quality of life. The college strictly adhered to the faculty-student ratio as mandated by the UGC. The faculty of the department & college is top class and well renowned. They covered every aspect like culture, economy, art & architecture in an excellent manner. Exams are quite tough and they test the students on multiple levels so that students can excel in different areas not just at an academic level but also professional. It wasn't much difficult to pass but scoring good grades was really really tough. Exams were always held on time during my course duration.

Economics and Commerce graduates typically get several internship projects. In most cases, they are paid a decent stipend as well. The college has an active cell that helps students find suitable internship offers.

After getting the degree I worked briefly in a Wall Street firm as a research analyst followed by law practice at a state High Court. Now I have my own edtech business. Students become eligible for placement in the third year. In my batch, many students were placed in reputed companies like Google, Maruti, etc

The fee is rarely hiked. The fee is so low that I never felt any need for financial assistance although I got several scholarships due to exceptional academic performance. I was a topper throughout and in recognition of my performance, the University gifted me books etc as well.

The annual fest of Hansraj College is quite popular & students wait for it the whole year-round. It is typically held in winters. Celebrities, actors, singers, etc are invited to the cultural programs in the fest. In the department fest, eminent historians, journalists, etc are invited. The library of the college is quite rich & has got many rare manuscripts & books which you won't find elsewhere. The college is also known for the sports facilities, it has got a huge ground & there are facilitaties and trainers for sports like shooting etc. There are many cultural and acting clubs as well.
