Enrich and earn

At, first we will get our merit list based on our score and counseling. After that, we will be given dates and locations where we need to go to attend counseling. Our counseling was held in the auditorium of Bhagalpur college of engineering. On counseling day, they asked us to fill in our education details and other general information on a sheet that was provided by the institute. After filling they would verify manually and then the further process is carried on .like paying seat acceptance fees and charges.

I have chosen mechanical engineering. As our college is quite famous for mechanical engineering. The ratio of faculty to the student is 1:30. All the faculty members are having qualifications of either Mtech or Ph.D. They are so good and support us in every possible way. As our faculty used to complete the syllabus on time and also they would guide us and give us details regarding exam preparation. So we are not facing any difficulty to pass in the examination. However to secure 90 above we need to give our efforts and devote extra time for studies.

Our college has collaborated with IIEST Sbhipur . So every year many students get opportunities to have internships under the guidance of IIEST Sbhipur. Many students do internships related to robotics, artificial intelligence, data analytics, machine learning and many more. So all these internships make us get good placement. Most of the internships are unpaid but in some, we get a monthly stipend of 2 to 4 thousand.

Our college placement is average. We get around 3.5 to 4 lakhs package. After the 6th semester, we become eligible for placement. Some of the company which visits here is Tcs, Infosys, Dalmia cement. A student who doesn't get placement goes for Higher education. Many students every year's cracks gate exam with a good score and go to IITS for higher education. Several meetings and webinar are conducted monthly where we are having discussions on getting placement or opting for higher education. So here they try to maximize our knowledge.

The fees structure of our college is quite low compared to other colleges. For the entire graduation, we need to pay fees of around 80-90 thousand. Our college comes under the state government of Bihar. So scholarship is provided to certain people who belong to scheduled caste and tribes. Placement is around 3.5 to 4 lakhs.

'Technorati ' is an annual fest and is held in the month of March. Our college has quite a big library where we can find all the books related to engineering and also lots of magazines are available there. Inside our campus, we have volleyball court, badminton court , football court and cricket ground. There are many clubs out of which Robotics club is very famous.
