Arzoo Tomer's Review On Gargi College - [GC], New Delhi

I didn't take any exams for Gargi College as admission here is based on the cut offs. If you are eligible, you will get admission and vice-versa. So, i scored 87.5% in my Best OF Four subjects. Through which i took admission in B.A.(Prog).

Yes, we have different societies in our college. They provide internships to college students like The Campus Connect. I have myself worked with them for an year as a marketing interns and they provide certificates and LOR.

Being a college of Delhi university. Placement and job opportunities are amazing in Gargi College. This year also over 100 students have been places in big companies and startups like:- KPMG , URBAN CLAP, NIIT , EVALUESRVE, GENPACT etc. They offer different packages to different posts. The average package is between 4-5 lac per annum.

Loads of events and programmes are celebrated in the college throughout the year such as Fresher's Party, Departmental fests, Diwali Fest, Annual Fest and so on. And all of them occur at a large scale and they are very happening. Students from various colleges come to attend these fests.

I have no idea about this but our college do provide scholarship to students who can't afford their education and students also get free laptops from the college for which they have to fill the form.

There is no hostel facility in the college. But we have canteen and 3 other food joints in out college. Nescafe spot if also there. We get the yummiest food in our college and a loads of variety. Even healthy food and fruit juice stall in also there for students and food is also very cheap.

We give exams twice a year i.e once in a semester. Exam structure is not very hectic as we have only 4 subjects so we get free in a week. And exam sitting is also simple. We sit according to our exam roll no. in different classes. Exams occur in two shifts i.e morning and afternoon. The shift is different for different courses.

For admissions, a form is to be filled which we get on the Delhi University site. After that cut offs for different colleges and different courses are released on the college's sites. If a student qualifies all the conditions he/she can get admission in the particular college. For admission a student have to carry the photocopy of all the necessary documents such as 12th mark sheet, id proof etc.

The faculty of Gargi College is highly qualified. They know how to handle their students and teachers are very supportive and understanding. All the teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They provide you with best of education and knowledge and help you to grow.
