My college in my view

It was all okay. The only problem was that the college is out of the city so we faced problems in reaching the college and the main problem was there was no canteen in the college or any shops near the college where we can find edible things so, we'd to be hungry until our counseling ended.

The course was obviously very good and our faculty members were very helpful and cooperative. They used to help in each and everything we'd asked for like career-related guidance or subject-related queries and every other thing. I used to like construction and site works that's why I chose civil engineering. There were 12 faculties and 6 lab assistants for 72 students in our college and all of them have done M.tech from IITs and NITs only whether some of them have also done their PhD. from IITs. They really used to teach in very unique ways which were very helpful for us to learn the topics easily. There was a mid-term exam in between the semester and after that, we'd to give viva what we've done in our practicals in that sem and after that, it was our end sem exams which were really very tough. In viva externals used to come from IITs and NITs only.

The placement of our college was not so good. The majority of the companies that visited were for the computer science branch-like HCL, TCS, ACCENTURE, and many more for the civil branch it was prism cement. From the 6th semester, students were eligible for campus placement. 20-30 percent of the students were getting placed.

Our college was not so costly as it was a government college. We'd to pay 19730rs for all the four years and after that 3200rs and 3700rs for odd and even semesters respectively. There was a scholarship for category students not for general category as per state government rules. There are placement opportunities also majorly for computer science students and for other branches it is quite less. The highest package was of 6lpa which was a little good for the students and it will increase after a year.

Our college life was superbly fine. We used to have a lot of fun and a great way to get together and enjoy moments. We have our annual function named SUMEDHA in October last in which we used to have a lot of fun and experiences also. We'd our tech fest named GRAVITON every year in March in which students of every college from Bihar used to come. We had our annual magazine also. We had our library on campus in which we can have all books on our syllabus. There are a lot of indoor and outdoor activities also.

Our hostel facilities are not that good but we can survive there. The infrastructure of hostels was pretty good and that's it. Food quality was also quite good and we'd our menu for the mess in which it was mentioned that what we'll have for every meal. The registration process was simple. We'd to pay the fee and get the fee receipt.
