Remarks

The admission process was pretty smooth. I went to the admissions office and contacted the authorities there and then they guided us on how to move forward and get myself enrolled. They signed me up for the Bachelors of Technology program in IT.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good but not very up to date it's kinda old. The faculties are good and very helpful. I have never faced a problem regarding academics. I got low marks in my first sem but the teachers were helpful and guided me to improve.

Placement Experience

From VI semester ownwards students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visited were: Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Get My Parking and many more. The highest package was of 8 LPA. The average Package was of 6 LPA. The profiles offered were of Software Engineer, and Programmer Analyst. I am planning to pursue MS in CS from US after my B.Tech

Fees and Financial Aid

The students who enroll through JEE mains get some percentage off in the first-year fees. The tuition fee of the college is 125350 and it has to be paid at starting of each college year. The hostel is optional and costs 75000.

Campus Life

The life on campus is quite nice. There are multiple clubs and committees that regularly conduct different events around the year. The annual cultural fest of the college is Zion and Tech fest is Manthan.

Hostel Facilities

In a hostel room students are provided a bed, mattress, table chair, lighting, curtains, and dustbin. The rooms are very good and are offered on a first come first serve basis as there are a lot of students who are always willing to avail of this facility. The food in the mess is not that bad but not that great either. You can survive on mess food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
