Remarks
Pros:-Among Bihar state Engineering colleges,MCE Motihari has set a benchmark for excellence.It is fully equipped with all the necessary and advanced tools and technologies which help students to enrich their skills.Low fee.Faculties and Seniors are very helpful,environment is quite productive and competitive.Cons:-The college is slightly in remote area but it isn't a big trouble as the connectivity is growing fast.There is a problem of residence because hostel buildings are being build.Admission is done on the basis of JEE mains score and starts in June -July month.A good valid score (>80%tile) is required to get into the college.MCE Motihari comes in top 5 colleges among the Other.And is the obvious cause to select this one.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for CSE as i'm interested in Computers also it is the most preferred now-a-day.There is a good 10:1 faculty student ratio.They all are selected through exams conducted by BPSC And also there are some good faculties from Tequip (from IITs NITs) .Exams are taken timely and cracking it is easy just study faculties notes and material thorough twice.
Internships Opportunities
Not yet but I would like to get one.
Placement Experience
There are a few companies which visit air campus like Pie-infotech,ACC,HCL,ONGC and more% of students (50-60%)get placed is low but the college is working very hard on it.There are many students who got off-campus Jobs in a prestigious company like Wipro,TCS,Mindtree .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is very low as compared to other state engineering colleges.In Bihar,anyone can easily get benefit of Student Credit Card loan to pay fee which is a very good and helpful initiative of government.
Campus Life
There is a well spaced and furnished library and almost all needy and important and relevent monthly weekly journal are available.Infrastructure is getting better day by day.Various cultural,sports and social activities are held to give students a overall development.Also clubs are there.
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel facility but it is difficult now to get one because of availability issue(for boys).But soon this scarcity will fade as hostel are being built at a fast pace.Girls always and will get hostel facility.Food and lodging is at very cheap rate without compromising quality.
Admission
Solely on JEE mains score.No Group discussion or any written exams are for admission.But if one is good in extra activities and social engagement will be a plus point for him.
