Remarks
The admission process was quite simple. We just had to match our percentage with that of the college cut-off. I had got 91% and secured a seat in economics Honours. Generally, the cut-off for the general category is quite high. Some requirements for economics Honours are that you must have studied economics and maths in your 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in economics which is the reason why I chose economics Honours as my field for graduation. The students in economics Honours are generally less since it's a difficult degree therefore in our class we had a batch of 50 students approximately. The faculty members are really good and are very knowledgeable. Every faculty member has a very high qualification. Also, are internals and exams are conducted timely without any delays.
Internships Opportunities
There is a variety of internship opportunities for students of every semester starting from the first semester itself. Numerous companies come to hire students for internships such as MakeMyTrip, share Khan, money controller, etc.
Placement Experience
There are numerous opportunities for students to apply for internships as well as for placements. Students of the First semester are eligible to apply for the internship is whereas for placements a student must be in the third year. Companies that recently visited our colleges for placements were Deloitte, Wipro, Hindustan Times, share Khan, MakeMyTrip, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the Delhi University colleges are very reasonable for every student. Different courses have different fees for my course the fees was around 18,000 approximately In 2019 which might have hiked up in the recent years. The college also provides scholarships for students securing a good percentage in the semester exams.
Campus Life
The college has numerous clubs and societies for students to join which enhance their skills and knowledge. The College campus is very good also we have a complex which is very huge and many sports activities take place there. There is a big library in the college which renders books whichever is required. The classrooms are quite clean and cleanliness is the utmost priority of the college. Many fests are conducted within the college including the main annual fest.
