Remarks

College managemwbt is not that great as it is a government college.

Entrance Preview

Class 12 boards, 95.75%, This is one of the best colleges for economics in DU. This has a legacy of great people.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure is very nice, ranging from theoretical aspects to the mathematical aspects too. They also teach you subjects like econometrics whicb help you get into research fields later. Overall the curriculum is excellent. It is one of the best designed curriculums in the field of economics..

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide internship. But if you want any teacher's help they would be ever ready to help you.

Placement Experience

3.5

Abundant placement opportunities. People who wanted placements, most of them got it. About 50 students would have got placed on an average package of around 4 lakhs just after graduation. UBS-6 Lakhs Deloitte-5 lakhs Capital IQ-5 lakhs Racket Benkaizer-10lakhs

College Events

4

Fests, exonomics, science fests. Fests are a huge ass affair. We also used to have social nights for hostel people. Girls from different colleges used to come for evening. We would play games together, after which there'd be dinner for them. It was a great opportunity for exposure

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. About 8000 per semester. It was very meagre amount compared to the private institues offering the same courses. Fee wax taken one time for a semester. Eitger throigh cash or through bank slip. And tge bank was right outside the college. So it was fairly easy to get the banking work done.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i dont think so. Though there were some scholarships but not sure if they were from college side.

Campus Life

4

campus life was nice. Gender ratio was biased in favour of girls. You'd find a very diverse crowd from almost every state. Extracurriculars was good, one has a lot of opportunities i amd out of the college. Debating was a big thing and extremely reputed as well.

Hostel Facilities

5

Heaven woykd be the word I'd choose. Excellebt food. Excellent knfrastricture single rooms available. Front lawns for entertainment. Late night eating places(dhaaba). The best part would be the fees- for an entire year it would be aroumd 50000. And the kimd of food you get was just super amazing.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. We still meet some of the alumni. They are helpful. They inspire the batches from their brilliant record.

Exam Structure

Semester exams used to happen. No labs. Complete semester was for around six months. We used to get time to chill as well. It was not that rigorous. We used to spend the time our way. It was not at all hectic. You would gst ample time to prepare for the exams

Admission

Based on the cutoff percentage decided by the college. They took out the cutoff and then we had to fill in the form telling them our percentage if we had made the cutoff. And then we would get the admission forms where we had to fill in our details.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty was amazing. There were a few very great proffessors for some subjects like microeconomics, statistics. The faculty had people from best of the institutes like ISI, DSE. There were brilliant scholeely peofessors as well who would inspire students to give in their best.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
