Remarks
The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires a decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really up to date. there are internship programmes to boodtt the infustry exposure in students. Also, the faculty is helpful(some of them). They use various digital and standard methods to teach. Exams are conducted thrice a sem. Mid-semester exams and end sem exams which are easy to crack.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Nutanix ,Goldmann Sachs, Samsung, DE shaw, and many startups came on campus for intern recruitment with a max stipend of upto 1 Lakh per month. They look out for DSA & problem-solving students in the process.
Placement Experience
Students start applying from the 7th Semester but there are companies that offered PPO to students who interened in the 6th semester. So placement is overall good. Almost 60 % students have already been placed in 6 months as more than 100 companies visited.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees without any concession are 76000 which includes hostel fees ( room charges). It is overall OK. The placement stats have gone up this year due to the Bullish market from COVID. Several big companies visit to campus like Google, Facebook, Urban Company, GS, Nutanix
Campus Life
Social Life is something that keeps you alive in college. There are three main fests - Confluence and Utkarsh (Cultural) & Techspardha (Technical). The Library is one of the good parts of Nitkkr. It has almost every book you'll need as a student. Plus the greatest novels. The classrooms are weell equipped with ACs, Projectors, Digital Whiteboards & TVs. The sports teams are really trained and the ground facility is great. Almost all the clubs are run by students
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are great. Boys get a triple sharing room in 1st year. Rest all the girls and boys from 2nd yr get their own single-seater room at very affordable prices. The mess is okayish. The registration process is super simple when we apply for college docs.
