Remarks
MAINS is the eligibility criteria for NITs. I had a state quota benefit for Kurukshetra. Application is done through JOSAA online. Via ML if a person knows his rank, a program could tell all the colleges you would get in the chosen branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
ECE is a nice course with a choice of placement in both software and hardware fields. The faculty ratio in KKR is quite decent for every 8 students there is a professor to mentor. Professors are quite thorough with their studies although some might lack the essence of teaching a class.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is quite simple Tuition fees is around 60k then there is exam charges, Lab charges. etc total accumulates to 70k a sem. I received a Merit scholarship of 3k annually. There is an Internship period in 6sem where you can get jobs with a stipend.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is nice, good ambience, good crowd, Lots of fun activities and clubs to participate in Lots of Books on each topic of every subject from every branch are present in good numbers. And an electronic system of Library is maintained on our ID. Sports is given great importance in KKR. There are regular inductions for the Sports team and annual sports fest CITIUS and Inter NIT tournaments.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good social points for the night. Senior-junior interaction is quite high. Mess facilities are available within the hostels and there is a schedule followed along with timely new changes with committees Senior hostel Mess is way better than first year mess on the basis of food quality.
