The admission process of Nit Kurukshetra was held by josaa and rank in jee Main was the basis of admission. The josaa site(nta.nic.in) can be referred for the application form for the admission process and jee Mains form too.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in ece so I chose it. The faculty here is amazing and the student ratio is quite high. All professors are PhD and teaching method comprises of both digital and black board teaching. Digital mode is followed in covid times.
Internships Opportunities
Nutanix -software intern- 90,000. Microsoft - sde intern - 80,000. American Express- sde intern - 70,000. There were various others like Siemens, Accenture, jivox, cadence, cdac, isro etc. Projects were mainly of webD and appd along with ML the outcomes were a great learning and helped in placement session
Placement Experience
4th year BTech students are ready for placements and most companies which visited were google Microsoft Amazon etc. Of ece around 80% of students have been placed and the highest package was of Amazon or 45 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no fee hoke during my time and the cost to study was dependent on the income of family like for less than 1 lacs it was about 20k per year for 1-5 lacs it was 75K and above 5 lacs it was 1.5 lacs per month.
Campus Life
Techspardha is the annual technical fest and confluence is the main annual cultural fest. The books are available in abundance and amenities are perfect. Emr is the best technical club and the sports facility is awesome.
Hostel Facilities
In a room of 1st year, 3 beds are arranged with enough ample space and for later years single bedded room is allotted. The meal quality is kind of ok and the menu depends on students. The registration process is done at the time of admission.
