Entrance Preview
I took BCECE 2015 as an entrance exam for this college. I secured rank 779 in that. I opted for this college because this is the best known college which comes under bihar govt. in comparision to all colleges which comes under BCECE.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is good but we are not having any research work in our college. We are just focusing on our course structure all the time. Additionally if we want to do something on our own we can do very easily here. We have got a satisfactory faculty support in core branch but we lack this in branch like CSE and ECE.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, my college provide internships support too. Specially to electrical mechanical and civil. Companies that came are NTPC , Indian railway.
Placement Experience
Placements in my college is a little below the standards in case of number and the packages that the students get. But in recent years by the collective efforts of students principal and training and placement cell the placements graph of this college is going high. In further coming year it will go on heights.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is quite feasible. In current time if we consider the fee it is minimal according to the fees of other engineering colleges are charging. At the time of admission 18k-20k is charged. And each year there is a annual charge of approx 25k as hostel charge.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no any scholarship which is offered by our college but our college provides a better support to the students in getting scholarships which are provided by the govt. to students.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college alumni network is quite large and very effective. Seniors provide a quite good support to the students in getting good internships and good jobs after passing out from this college.
Exam Structure
In each semester we are having one class test, one mid terms and one end semester exam. Each year consists of two semesters. In first half of the college we are having labs and in second half we have our theory classes. The structure is quite relaxing not a hectic one.
Admission
I had given exams in two stages first one was p.t and other one was mains. After clearing these two i got a call for counselling which was held at IAS bhawan Patna. In that session i got CSE in this college by my choice. On that day i also got admission letter having admission dates and all the further details. After that I came to the college and took admission.
Faculty
The faculty support is present all the time in college. Specially the faculties of the core branches like electrical,mechanical and civil are very qualified and teach the course structure very smoothly and in a standard manner. But there is a slight problem in CSE and ECE departments ,in these departments there is a lack of permanent and qualified faculties.
