Remarks
Every detail of the admission was already there on the university website. College also had a separate helpdesk. If you are from other backgrounds in 12th you will get 2.5% cut from your Best4. Simply apply from the University website. Reach the college. Go to your department, produce required documents and do. Nothing Hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview
I shifted to History from Science as I was pursuing career options in Civil services. It is always helpful to have a Humanities subject but it's not compulsory as you see most of the toppers are engineers these days. The faculty was really great. Well not all of them, but most of them. They had a complete idea of the paper and could answer any random question about the same very satisfactorily. They loved to teach. Exams and presentations were regular. Maybe once per two week
Internships Opportunities
Several internships opportunities. From Museums to govt offices for Humanities. From big companies for Commerce. It was usually for 3 to 4 months with rewards and handsome stipends. About 50 percent of the students used to do that
Placement Experience
From final year i.e 3rd-year students start going for placement interviews. But yes, not the students of History. It is mostly limited to commerce sector students Several companies of repute used to visit. I don't exactly know about the package as my stream was different, but yes, nearly 75 percent of students used to get selected. Currently, I am preparing for civil services.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my course, Fee was very less. About 8k per year. No hike also. It was fixed. Several scholarships were obviously there but they were mostly for SCs, STs or OBCs. And PWDs. God forbid, but if someone was PWD, he only had to pay 275 rs a year. And also got several scholarships.
Campus Life
Vibrations are the annual fest. Several celebrated guests used to come. During my stay, Neha Kakkar, Arman Malik, and Many others visited. The college has an amazing library. Full of books and daily newspapers. A separate sports ground for all types of sports. Different clubs like reverb (music), Footloose (dance), Vayam(drama), Dictum (debate).
