Remarks
The admission is based on a merit list of marks of the best four subjects a person. The cut-off list can be found on the official website of that college. But the criteria have changed, now one has to give an entrance exam for admission. One can find the application form and details on the official website of Delhi University i.e., du.ac.in Please be prepared for the entrance exam from now on.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to pursue Civil services that's why I choose this subject. The teachers are cooperative and they help students with materials, books, and concepts. If we talk about exams it is conducted every 6 months at the end of the semester. Exams were quite easy, one can easily get through them with the help of the previous year's question papers.
Placement Experience
I am a student of BA so didn't know much about placements and all, as I want to write everything as my own experience from college. What I know is that the placement is quite good and the average salary can be more or less 3 lac. From online sources, I get to know that the college has a 3.8 rating for the placements. My plan is civil services and for this, my College is super nice.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college of less than 11000 but if you are from out of Delhi you have to manage a living, food, and other things that can cost you higher, but only college fees are affordable to most. My college doesn't offer any scholarships as far as I know, but other colleges du may provide scholarships.
Campus Life
Priyadarshini is the annual cultural fest of Dyal Singh College, DU held in April. I don't know about any tech fest. The library is too good, you can find different types of books for your gov exam preparation, college course books, books of Shakespeare, etc. The classroom is good, has only a fan and bench. My college has a basketball court, football field, and different types of gardens.
