Remarks

After my 12th exam corona pandemic began and affected all over the world. I got my result after that then I heard about some colleges like MLNC, SBSC and Sri Aurobindo College. I checked the ratings as well. I asked my elder brother's friends who were studying earlier there. Then I heard that this College has the best NCC around all over Delhi college's NCC. Then I decided to take admitted to this college. I just completed my registration through a cyber cafe. The admission process was so good it was online. All the things are done very well. It charged 5049 rupees to get admission including 1-year college fees. It is so affordable that a lower-class student can also afford it. The staff is very cooperative our teachers are very helpful. They solve students' problems whether it's personal. Their teaching is good with a funny example which helps us to remember that fact through that example.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I was having the history subject in my 12th class well. So I decided to take this subject again. The History department is very good in this college. Our history teacher provided notes to learn and get passed in examinations they also told about their experience of studying so that students don't get stressed. They taught us the trick of writing exams by providing important questions as well so that the student does not study he/she can take ideas and start preparing for the exam. Every year we have to give exams semester-wise we have 2 semesters in a year. The exam was a bit hard but we remembered the facts and questions which were given by our teacher.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internships at the college are very much different kinds of fields. One of the students got selected for cyber security. That internship was around 3 months. Which was a great opportunity for that student who was very willing to join this field.

Placement Experience

4

From the 6th semester, students are applicable to give interviews. The highest package is around 4.5 lakh per annum. The average is around 2.8 lakh per annum. Our college placement cell works on students to get qualified for high-profile jobs. Approx 40% of students get a better job better than the average price.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very less and very much affordable as per the expectations. Approx 6 thousand per year it cost to study in this college. I got a scholarship for doing the course of a competitive exam for free. Later on, I just got a job in the placement cell of our college.

Campus Life

4.5

There is an annual fest which gets conducted by the NCC origination of our college. It totally gets worked by Senior Cadets of theirs. There is a big library where all the books are available as per your demand. Daily newspaper of Hindustan times we can get there. The sports department is also good. I don't know that much the department which gets conducted by that teacher is very good. Recently a Girls Kabbadi match was played in our college in which our college girls team won that match. This news gets published in the newspaper as well. There is a society that works on women's empowerment.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
