Remarks

It was great. I got admission through sports quota. Every thing was easy like we didn't face any problem feeling the admission form. Do some time the Delhi University site crash. It would be good if you fill the form before the last date because at that last day to fill the admission form the Delhi University site may crash down

I choose English Honours because I like to read novels and so I prefer English honours but I also wanted to be in psychology the infrastructure of the building I am is like okay okay I didn't like it much class conditions are not that much greater but what you can expect from a government College of exam were of like 3 hours

As I told before I am in first year and I don't know about the placement but our college provide really good placement opportunities to the students as I am listen from my seniors they also provide jobs to School students in army and military types of jobs

I don't think so 12,000 for a year is costly but Delhi University also provide scholarships for the student. 12,000 is not that much for a year you while going to the private university you have to Spend lakhs per semester

I don't know about the other college but our college clubs and societies are very hard to get into the things to be perfect before getting into the societies I thought we will get to know more about the things like I auditioned for the photography society I was really surprised when I didn't get into photography society because I had Mass Media in my 1112 days my teacher was mazed to see my skills but I didn't get through the auditions

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
