Remarks
There are two types of admission processes in the college of engineering Roorkee. The first one is reservation quota and the other one is based on JEE. Anyone can apply for admission by visiting the official website of the college of engineering Roorkee i.e. cover.ac.in.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have to go on the field of it industry that's why I have selected this course. Job opportunity for CSE and IT students is very good. The faculties are very helpful and friendly. They provide us path to a good future. There are 2 sessional tests which are internal each semester and the University paper is the most important one which is quite normal to pass.
Internships Opportunities
College provides us best way to build carrier as they provide us with an internship in good companies. And they provide us with a good amount of stipend for the internship. Recently college allowed us to take an internship at IIT Roorkee. I had also participated in that hope so that I will also be a part of that.
Placement Experience
Based on the student's skills they can apply for the placement from 3rd year onwards. College is far better in the field of campus placement than other local private engineering colleges as in 2022 colleges provide 100 percent placement in CSE and IT departments. The highest package is 24/L is offered. And the Average package is 4L. I plan to make a startup company after the completion of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think the Fees for the B.Tech at the college are quite high. Also, hostel charges are high. Scholarships are available based on the state quota for the locals(Uttarakhand). Also, colleges provide us with job opportunities as they try their best to welcome as many companies for the placement of students.
Campus Life
As we know that college life is just like heaven. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. Lots of fun and memories. As the college is just near Haridwar which makes it the best place to visit on vacation or holidays. There are 2 libraries in the college which provide good infrastructure. classrooms are well maintained and teaching is also good. Faculty used to teach us things in the best way they can with the help of PPT and smart boards. College also provides opportunities for the students to take participate in sports and the college conducts annual sports for the students. There are communities in college which are guided by the faculty and these are totally full of fun and enjoyment with learning new things
Hostel Facilities
I think as they charge hostel fee with that I am not happy as they do not provide the facilities of that class. The problem of Wi-Fi is usually found here. Mess food needs to be improved. And for the nonvegetarian students, this college doesn't provide non-veg. There is a pg nearby college you can afford at a low charge as compared to hostel fees.
