The entrance exam was there. No reservation is available. You can find the application form on upes website. No need for improvement is there in the admission process and you can get admission on the basis of your jee score also.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members of the university of petroleum and energy studies are awesome in all ways. They start preparing you from the very beginning. They teach very well, and most of the faculty are Ph.D. The level of midsem and endsem was quite tricky.
Internships Opportunities
You have to do 3 internships. In the first year, you have to do a social internship. In the second year, you have to work in a startup and last, in 3rd year, you have to work in a multinational company. And you have to make your minor project in the 4th semester and portfolios later on.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for PPOs in the 5th and 6th semesters. And in the 7th and 8th semesters, you can grab placements. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, IBM, xebia, etc are there. 100% placement in computer science.
Fees and Financial Aid
A fee hike is there every year. And the cost of the study is similar to that of the top 5 private colleges in India. I don't think is any campus job available. There are some scholarships and financial assistance as well.
Campus Life
The annual fest urjaa is conducted in the month of November. All kinds of books are available in the library it has all the possible varieties. Class infrastructure is good. All kinds of sports and extracurricular activities are there.
