college is good. placement is average because less company visit this college but the education is good. and other activities is n9t promoted by the college. Improvement is necessary for campus placement.

I'm a Btech Computer science student and in future it's has a good scope so I choose this. in this college CSE department is good and the faculty is supportive of anything regarding the study. And also gives opportunities to participate in other competitions like hackathons, etc.

In the first year, you have many guest lectures and also an opportunity to get internship ideas from faculty or your seniors. Microsoft and IBM is the company by which you can get internship opportunities. in 2-3 years you will get more.

You can eligible for placement in 3rd year and many companies offer to give exams in 5th semester. the highest placement is 28 lakh and the average placement is 4 lakh per annum. mass recruiter generally visits the campus mostly.

Fees are different year by year. in the first year, fees will be 1lakh 4 thousand and in the second year, it will be 93,400 per year. and according to this study is good. also, college gives scholarships to students.

The campus is not big. but it is beautiful. There are gardens in front of each building. there is a basketball court, volleyball court , badminton court, football ground, and other ... Good campus with good infrastructure

There are three hostels one for girls and two for boys which are Newton house and CV Raman . in newton house only first-year students are allowed and in CV Raman second, third, and fourth-year students are allowed.

Hostel Fee: INR 77500 per year

Interview Experience

Yes . an exam is taken for entrance or you can get direct admission also. but if you consider the exam then you will get good scholarships and if you come directly then you get admission on your 12th result basis

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I choose this college of others because i wanted to continue to study in a budget friendly and well reputable college of dehradun. No i didn't get any rejection cause i dont applied in any another college. SCE is best in Dehradun

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list.
