Course Curriculum Overview

I got a CSE branch in nit Uttarakhand. I have a lot of interest in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and web development so I want to become a good coder and want to get specialization in these courses which are in the CSE branch.

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mainly big companies like Samsung, Adobe etc are come and providing placement to many students. I am in my first year so I have not so much experience in any project or internship but as I know from the senior internship are well furnished

Placement Experience

As my branch is cse .the placement of cse is 100 percentage.and overall placement is more than 75 percentage.the placement are getting very well.mainly everyone got recruitment. all students get desired opportunity to get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have a general category so I don't get any scholarship. but because of national importance, the fee structure of nits is very affordable and the level of education is very excellent and provides all the facilities which are given by the college.

Campus Life

Nit Uttarakhand has a temporary campus. its permanent campus which is 300 acres is under construction but in our temporary campus each and every facility is provided and we'll execute it. the Library has lots of books.

Admission

My name is Shivam Chauhan. I have qualified jee mains with 97.66 percentile and I got cse branch in nit Uttarakhand. My category is general. I have no reservations about the benefits. I have found the application on the official website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I rejected Iiit guwahati because I thought Nit has greater preference for placements and less fees. All about NIT Uttarakhand

I chose this college because i have the state quota for this state(Uttarakhand). I expect to get CS here but unfortunately i got ECE.Also a tag is NIT will be benificial if future. In comparision to other NITs this college doesn't have its own campus which is bad (college life sucks here). Placement were decent in online time(2021 - 2022) but now the placements are becoming worst. For CSE branch it is decent but for other branches its very poor.
