- Class infrastructure needs a bit improvement, washrooms are often lacking in amenities.
- Professors are strict in terms of attendance
- Canteen food is particularly not good, however there are other food joints inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
The history department in Hansraj has a lot of celebrated professors as its faculty. The teaching process is very proactive and the department organises a lot of seminars, conferences, etc for extra-curricular experience. The experience here is surely one of a kind, and students stand to learn a lot here.
Internships Opportunities
the college holds an internship fair every year, providing people opportunities for internships with a lot of top companies. Fellowships are also provided and the college is highly reputed, making it easier to grab better opportunities.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are highly rewarding and are usually provided in the 3rd year, with internships available in the 2nd year. The averag package is around 10LPA, and a lot of renowned companies offer recruitments here, including, DE SHAW, Bain etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are very minimal, especially for the facilities and quality learning experience they provide. Scholarships and financial assistance is available on the basis of merit, calculated through the CGPA on a yearly basis.
Campus Life
The social atmosphere in the college is very active. The college orovides a wide range of clubs and societies to widen the college experience and learn valuable skills. The annual fests (technical, entrepreneurial, etc) are held in the months of February-March. The sports circuit of Hansraj College is particularly strong with world class facilities and easy acces to sports equipments for all students. The college is known for its wealth of events throughout the year along with a lot of student run enterprises like magazines, newsletters, websites,etc.
Admission
The admission process was on the basis of merit. Cutoff lists were released according to which, eligibility for the courses was decided. The application forms and fee payment are a fully online process and hassle free to a great extent.

Kirori Mal College - [KMC] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (History)
Hansraj College was a better option for me, because of the wide range of clubs and societies it offers to its students. Moreover considering, placements and internships, Hansraj College is definitely the better choice.
