One drawback is that the fee of the college is very high which is not affordable to many of the students. One good thing about this college is that its location is really very good.

I had given IIT JEE exam, COMEDK, UPESEAT. In IIT JEE exam I have not crossed the cutoff. Then I appeared for the other two exams as stated above. In both of them after so many talks, I finally chosen to take admission in U.P.E.S as it has good placement records, very experienced teachers, and the most important thing is that this college has a lab for all the various experiments which made it somewhat different from other colleges. My rank in UPESEAT was 5100. So luckily I succeeded in getting the seat in this college. Apart from studies, my college that is UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND ENERGY STUDIES (U.P.E.S) also have good records in interschool sports. The college also has a great exposure to various big companies due to which we can get a chance of having the internship in our dream companies. So due to all these reasons, I have chosen U.P.E.S.

The course structure is good. Are classes begin from morning 9:00 a.m till 5:30 p.m in evening. Whatever notice the college has to give they use to give us on their respective sites called as blackboard which becomes a very easy mode for us as well as for them too.

Yes, our college provides the internship. I don't have knowledge regarding the stipend.

The placement record of the college is very good but in recent years the placement percentage has got a steep fall in its graph but overall I can say it has good records in the fields. Big Companies like FLIPKART, MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, AMAZON, MARUTI SUZUKI etc have visited our college for offering jobs which is really a very good thing.

Many culture fests like UURJA, IGNITE etc occurs every year. Several sports, quiz, workshops keep on going very frequently. The students from other colleges also take part in these programmes. Many chapters are there in our college which allow us to gain more knowledge as well as get a chance to learn more apart from studies which are very important.

The fee structure is really too expensive. It's not affordable to mess well as many other students like me. The fee for 1st semester is 1,50,000 which I think is not affordable for a middle-class family. We have to take loans from banks or sometimes in middle due to the lack of money we have to leave the college which is really a very bad. According to me, the fee should not be this much.

I am sorry as I have no idea related to this but I can say one thing is that depending upon our 12th results and the 1st-semester result scholarship are provided to the students.

Here, the lab facilities are very good. There is a lab for each and every subject and we get a very good chance to have practical and help us to understand our subjects more efficiently and properly. Here no one dares to do ragging because if caught, strict actions are taken against him/her immediately.

I live in private hostels whose fee is 1,30,000 per year. According to me, mostly all the things are good except food quality since it's not much tasty.Here the room is like double sharing, triple sharing or single rooms. The prices are different for all the three. The cost is much high if we are living single. Transportation problems are also there but we have to manage that.

Seniors are really helpful and treat us like their friends. As we know that all the seniors cannot be good but in 100%, at least 85% seniors are really helpful and good.

The exams keep on coming after every 2-3 months. The exams are timed at every alternate day which provides us a chance to prepare in a more better way. Along with this practical exams are also there which is also equally important. We have to do experiments, five Viva's and have to do various other things. Then 40% weightage is there for internals. Along with this, assignments and tutorials are also very important.

We can get admission in U.P.E.S in two ways:- 1. On the basis of jee mains result 2. On the basis of U.P.E.S.E.A.T exam conducted by the college itself. After that depending on rank we secured, we get a chance or select our favorite stream if available and the same date some amount of their total payment, we have to submit and have to confirm your seat. And after payment, finally, we get admission in the college.

Really, our faculties are well experienced and highly qualified in their particular field. They treat us like our friends and help us in sorting any type of problems. Here all the teachers have done doctorate or have completed their P.hds. They teach us the topics in deep and try their level best to share their maximum knowledge they have.
