What Students Say
Likes
- Infrastructure was average. But better than other colleges
- It was situated in a posh location. So we had a lot of happening places around us
- We had a good library that had pretty good books.
Dislikes
- Connectivity. It was far away from the metro station.
- Worst canteen food I have ever tasted. Please don’t eat it.
- Professors were like robots. They made us read the books ourselves and had no knowledge about any concept.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had one professor for each subject. I had chosen English for no particular reason. Most of the professors had their doctorates in their respective fields. Some of them were temporary professors on a trial basis.
Placement Experience
English Hons students did not get many placement offers. All we had were a couple of internship opportunities or basic sales roles. No specific company came to recruit people from our department. Moreover, the placement cell ran by bcom students who did not care about us.
Fees and Financial Aid
We had an average fee of 14500 INR annually which we paid in two installments during the covid period. Now it is very expensive since they have added more benefits like student insurance and other activities.
Campus Life
College life was pretty boring. We had a few societies but all of them just existed and never did anything worth getting students' attention. The entrepreneurship club was dead. Only the drama society was pretty active.
Admission
It was based on merit and the best four we had in our 12th boards. We had to select one core and one elective subject along with two more subjects. OBC and other categories had lesser cutoffs. We had to go with our mark sheet at college and submit the requisite documentation. The fee payment option was available online once we submitted it.
