Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electrical Engineering because it is my hobby & core branch of this college is so strong that every year from this college at least 20 people grab AIR under 100 in the GATE exam. Student ratio-1:4. Professors here are all well qualified and most of them are MIT, IIT&NIT graduates. The entrance exam to take admission here is JEE MAINS.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The highest internship offered here is 19 LPA by Microsoft. Seniors in 3rd year are almost 80% are earning stipend remain to invest their own in government exams. Projects like an aqua boat with lightly turned solar plates, and solving machines that all I made in my 1st semester.

Placement Experience

From 5 th semester students become eligible for placement & from the 3rd semester student become eligible for internship. Various top companies visit here and the highest offer received here is 40 LPA. The percentage of getting placement is 70% and it is improving year by year as IIIT BHAGALPUR is on the same campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The best thing about this college is the fee is negligible I mean you can complete your B.TECH IN only 2 to 3 lakh including hostel charges. The scholarship is availed here so easily the government itself gives 1500 as a stipend if you apply for PMS.

Campus Life

The Tech Fests Here: TECHNORATI That is probably held in the month of March. Largest Techfest of Bihar. The library is very vast here you do have not to buy any books if you don't want myself has completed 2 semesters here without purchasing any books. I always used to take books.

Hostel Facilities

There are 15 hostels on our campus. Each has its own separate mess. A charge is 37000 / year here. No of students is 2 in a room (1st yr & 2nd yr) from onward 3rd yr & 4th yr single student in a single room. Mess food is great as college is in Bihar itself land of cereals so we eat pure natural meals here not buoyed by the market. The registration process of the hostel has filled a form and submit it to the hostel management sector.

Hostel Fee: INR 37000 per year

Admission

Eligibility: 12th pass with minimum top 20%ile of your board. Must appear in JEE mains. Percentile cutoff-90 percentile.(OBC). Apply through bcece. The admission process is very smooth Reservation can be availed on a category basis.

Placements at NIT Patna Are good for cs e The students become eligible from 7th semester Average place fields is around 13 to 14 lpa Eld highest goes to 40 Around 85 to 95 Percent students get placed I plan to become a software developer after graduation

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

Top engineering college of bihar with low cost

You have to qualify jee mains examination and if you don't participate in jee mains then you can give BCECE examination. Generally the application form come in months of may and the application fee are nominal less than 500.If you score more than 80 percentile in jee mains then you can get admission in this college.
