Remarks

College is overall good i just feel that the fees is pretty huge apart from the huge fees the college is a beauty in itself. You get to know people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Entrance Preview

I took Jee Mains 2015, qualified that paper with a score of 113/360. Then I gave my JEE Advance but was unable to clear it. Besides these mainstream exams, I gave UPESEAT paper for the admission to UPES college. I secured a descent rank. With my JEE score I was not getting a good college whereas I was easily getting Btech CSE in UPES, Dehradun.Its an overall nice college with good atmosphere away from all the city pollution.Its campus is among beautiful campuses in India too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good.Currently in 1st year they teach you Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computers, Open source we have our English Communication class as well.Its a bunch of a mixture.

Internships Opportunities

I'm currently in 1st year so do not have much idea as per as my knowledge, I think the placements vary from stream to stream petroleum placements are the best and computer science too.

Placement Experience

They are good high package goes in Petroleum field companies like, ONGC, IBM, INFOSYS, TATA, LARSEN AND TOUBRO etc. Packages: 12LPA-4LPA.

College Events

College fest, UURJA2 days event, day 1 we have DJ night and next day performance by a band there are other technical fest also organised by students chapters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very expensive they charge you around 1.2 L in just one semester each year fees is raised so around 12 L in 4 years besides this there are other fees too.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide scholarship in 1st year to students who qualify for the same loan facility is also available here localite Students have to pay 25% less tuition fees.

Campus Life

Campus life is always good memories stays forever sports facilities are provided so that students can continue with their physical activities there are so many various student chapters to develop them academically.

Hostel Facilities

Campus hostel is nice since they charge you 1L for a year mess food is variable according to menu it changes. Overall its good rooms are also good here private hostels are very expensive.

Alumni/Alumna

I know a 4th year student he is a good friend of mine helps me & guides me seniors are warm here they tell us how to manage everything and what should we do & or not.

Exam Structure

We have mid sems & end sems exams in one semester so four exams in a year also we have two common class test.

Faculty

We have overall a moderate faculty some are really good & some are average they are there to help & guide us our Course Coordinator takes care of us & manages the welfare of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared.
