Course Curriculum Overview

I was influenced by tech and how it's done so I wanted to go into this domain. One batch contains 30-35 students with a faculty of subject. Faculties are very cooperative and helpful with students. the exams are on time and it was not much difficult to clear the exams

the fee for my course is around 17 lacs which is divided into 8 semesters of you can say 4 years. there are many scholarships available too like on the basis of jee, board marks, and domicile of Uttarakhand. the college also provides internships in 3 years and placements in 4 year

Campus Life

there is an annual fest and other small fests too. recently there was a cultural and sports event that went on for 4 days. also in Navratre a 'dholida' named event was conducted. there is a library with all the books that you would wish for and the campus is beautiful in a mountain valley. all sports are available to play on campus including gym, cricket, and football. there are many students chapters and clubs to join into

Admission

There was an exam of upes called UPESEAT which I cleared and got after mail for joining the campus. Application forms can be found on the official site of upes which is upes.ac. All the necessary details like application forms, fees, and dates can be found on the site itself. I didn't apply for any reservation criteria. Nowadays CUET is also accepted by colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!

Assessment test is there but that's not the only way of getting here. There are other ways too and students can go that way like on 12th score or sports quota because there are over 1000 new admission done every year. UPES was the lone place I tried and I got admission too....Read More

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT.
