Course Curriculum Overview
Why I choose this course because I love computers. I love how they work and how we can create things using coding. Faculty is good they help students, and support students. Qualification of faculty most of them are Ph.D. holders and the teaching method is interactive.
Internships Opportunities
Accenture, and JP Morgan, make my trip they all come for giving internships too, with a stipend range of 30000-80000. The process they have a minor and major project and based on that project you will tackle the interview round.
Placement Experience
After completing the 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Many companies are there like Google, Amazon, Accenture, and JP Morgan, and their offers are based on the skills of a student but the average is as stated min 500000 to max 850000 it's an average package range I'm talking about. 90% of students get placed. My plans I'm going for 2 years job plan and then moving to Norway for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think fees need to be taken care of by the college it's pretty high but the education I am receiving is good. They have many scholarships for Uttarakhand students, scholarships for single girl children, and many more. Yaa, we get many internship opportunities from campus and also jobs.
Campus Life
There is no specific month on which the tech fest is conducted, many tech fests are conducted within a month and this continues till the year-end. Yaa UPES has two main fests one is SPANDAN and another one is URJAAA, SPANDAN is in MARCH and URJAA is in NOVEMBER. Sports events, dance competitions, and art competitions are all activities that help students to grow there.
Admission
The admission process is very seamless. I found the application form on their website and filled it and based on that I got a mail for the entrance exam. The entrance test is a little bit difficult but I managed to crack it and got my dream field i.e. computer science. No, I don't think that they need to improve their admission process.
