- They take charges of everything from the students for the maintenance of the college like bathroom, electricity, Complex
Course Curriculum Overview
I had interest in Hindi from the beginning so I decided to go with it. Students ratio is quite well. Girls & boys are approximately in a similar ratio that's the good thing about it. Teachers are well qualified & most of the teachers are holding PHD degree with their respective names & posts. Their teaching method is quite well. Some of the teachers are just brilliant in teaching. They teach like teaching is their passion. Term exams were always on the time. The exam were like in 6 months semester wise. It wasn't so difficult to pass the exam if you have studied & even getting marks for the attendance & assignments make easy to crack the examination successfully.
Placement Experience
When Students are in the Final (6th) semester they are eligible to appear in the interview of campus placement. After getting the degree I decided to take the admission in M.A & to clear Neet exam for becoming Professor.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee structure of the college is really high which could be the reason for the middle-class students to think once to choose this college to study. The Scholarship scheme is also there for the students who get good marks in the semester examination.
Campus Life
The annual Fest is "VIBRATION" It is organised between Feb to March. The Library is really good & most of the books we could easily get from our library. There are many sports teams in the college like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, and Basketball. They organise selection to select their teammates who are quite good or have played any state or Zonal level games. There are many societies in College that are being run by students only Like Dictum- The debating society, VAYAM- The Theatre Society, VIBGYORE- The Art Society these all social Groups are run by Students.
Admission
Eligibility for the Course is Min. 75% marks in the Honours Subject which you want to do. We can easily find the application form from the Shivaji College window. No, that time I didn't have my OBC certificate so I couldn't use it. Yes, the one improvement I want, is to decrease the fee of the college because it's really high for the people like us middle-class students. We would have to take debt for paying such college fees.
