Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in Software Development and coding. Thus I desired to get into the Computer Science Engineering branch but the rank wasn't sufficient enough for that therefore I opted for Electronics and Communication.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Dedicated Training and Placement cell is there in Dehradun which is very supportive to students. Students are bagging many PPOs in reputed companies like Google, Microsoft Amazon. The highest Internship Stipend offered - 1 Lacs/ month.

Placement Experience

Placements are improving day by day. Every year the average placement is increasing by many folds. 2022 Stats Average Package - 11 lpa Highest Package - 38lpa. Many students are getting into Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure: General/OBC Cl - 200000/year. Obc Ncl /SC/ST gets many benefits on the basis of reservation. Currently, there is no fee hike policy. This college is cost-friendly. Many Scholarships are there Shraman, SBI, etc.

Campus Life

There are many fests that are conducted every month. Annual Fest- Cliffesto. Technical Club - Techfest, Prodyogeeky. Cultural and Fine Arts Club- Aarohan Literary Club - Kavikaranam. The library here is highly vibrant.

Hostel Facilities

Currently, We live in a room that is shared among three students. No coolers are there we survive only on fans. Mess is also their qualify meal provided is above average sometimes it gets poor. No pg are here in the locality.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

Admission is done through an entrance exam named Joint Entrance Exam (Jee) which is conducted by NTA. The application form can be found at the site of JEE Main. It is conducted every year generally in the month of January and April.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I rejected Iiit guwahati because I thought Nit has greater preference for placements and less fees. All about NIT Uttarakhand

I chose this college because i have the state quota for this state(Uttarakhand). I expect to get CS here but unfortunately i got ECE.Also a tag is NIT will be benificial if future. In comparision to other NITs this college doesn't have its own campus which is bad (college life sucks here). Placement were decent in online time(2021 - 2022) but now the placements are becoming worst. For CSE branch it is decent but for other branches its very poor.
