The College activities get disturb almost every year due to flood in ganga river.
There is very less medical facilities in campus.

The course curriculum is very good in this college. there are 5 branches in it. Civil, electrical, mechanical, CSE, and ECE. Faculty members are well qualified. All the faculties of the college are selected through BPSC asst. Prof. Exam.

For internships, college is tied up with some industries and companies for better training for their students and the development of interpersonal skills and technical skills. Besides the industrial visit college also provides some online internship platforms like Cisco.

The placement scenario is getting better than before. Since 2015 the placement cell has worked very hard and helped the students to achieve their dream jobs in prestigious companies. those students who could not place prefer to go for a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very less and reasonable for the course in this college. You can do your engineering degree from this college at approximately 2.3 lacks for whole four years, including hostel and mess fees also.

Campus Life

There are many clubs associated with and funded by the college. Some clubs are Campus TV and radio club, poetry club, sports club, cultural club, etc. Campus life is Very enjoyable in this college. hostel facilities are also good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are very satisfying here. The annual Room accommodation charge is 12000 rupees only. You will get 3-star facilities in the hostel. A mess is also running under every hostel in it.

Hostel Fee: INR 37000 per year

Admission

Admission to this college is done on the basis of the score of jee mains which are conducted by the national testing agency. The minimum cut score for seeking admission in Civil engineering is 85 to 86 percentile and for CSE it is 90 percentile.

Placements at NIT Patna Are good for cs e The students become eligible from 7th semester Average place fields is around 13 to 14 lpa Eld highest goes to 40 Around 85 to 95 Percent students get placed I plan to become a software developer after graduation

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

I chose this college due to following reasons:- Proximity to my house. Reputation of the college. Location of the college. Lush green campus. Top engineering college of bihar with low cost

You have to qualify jee mains examination and if you don't participate in jee mains then you can give BCECE examination. Generally the application form come in months of may and the application fee are nominal less than 500.If you score more than 80 percentile in jee mains then you can get admission in this college.
