Course Curriculum Overview
I have politics as my major subject in my BA. The faculty of JDMC is really good and very supportive, they are really passionate about their work and you can get to them for any problem. There are 1-2 tests for internal assessment and papers are held semester-wise.
Internships Opportunities
We have placed students in S&P Capital IQ, EY, Fluor Daniel, Genpact, Aon Hewitt, Concentrix, ICICI Prudential etc over the years. Besides Placement, the focus has also been to give corporate exposure to first- and second-year students by providing them with internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
Not aware of placements and jobs in the college. Because I am not inclined towards finding a job. My plan after getting my degree is to prepare for UPSC. Our college also have a society for preparation of UPSC.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have 20,000 fees for a year excluding hostel fees. The facility of the library is provided you can go to the library any time during working hours and study, and access a lot of information and books. E-resource Facility is also provided free of cost.
Campus Life
Symphony is the name of the fest of Janki devi college which is held annually. Many more fests are organised by departments and societies, whereas NCC also has its own fest. The infrastructure of our college is excellent, you can see a variety of plants and trees and also have a herbal garden. Every society has its own Instagram handed for information and upcoming events.
Admission
Last year admission to Delhi University was taken through the CUET entrance exam. The whole process is online. There are reservations in every college. The cutoff list comes after the examination. You can get admission to North Campus and South campus off-campus colleges.
