Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are quite knowledgeable and professionals. They create a student-friendly environment so that no one hesitates in asking doubts. There is a two-way interaction in the class and the faculties focus on practical implementation.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell puts a lot of effort to bring companies to the campus. The average placement is around Rs 6 LPA and almost 80% of students get placed. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Mahindra, Nokia, and Samsung come for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite nominal. You can submit the fees semester-wise. The semester fee is Rs 80000 for college. Though you can appear in a scholarship test to avail of benefits. Education loans can also be taken from banks.

Campus Life

The annual fest is organised every year in which celebs show their appearance. DJ nights and Party nights are held on a regular basis. The sports facilities are quite organised and amazing. Different sports tournaments are organized at regular intervals to increase student participation.

Admission

You need to score more than 60% in your higher secondary for taking admission to SCE. Application forms can be filled out via the college website. No reservation benefit is provided since it is a private college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I choose this college of others because i wanted to continue to study in a budget friendly and well reputable college of dehradun. No i didn't get any rejection cause i dont applied in any another college. SCE is best in Dehradun

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list.
